How fuel & travel cost calculator works
Fuel litres = distance ÷ mileage. Fuel cost = litres × price. Monthly cost = (fuel cost + daily tolls and parking) × working days. We calculate from unrounded figures, then round money to two decimals.
Is this the same as my company travel claim?
No. This estimates your spending. Your company may pay a fixed amount, fare or kilometre allowance. Use the TA / DA calculator separately for eligible claims. It excludes servicing, insurance and vehicle depreciation.
