How free quantity vs discount calculator works
Scheme unit cost = price × paid units ÷ (paid units + free units). Equivalent discount = free units ÷ total received units × 100. Discounted unit cost = price × (1 − discount ÷ 100). These are alternative offers, not combined discounts.
Is 10+1 the same as 10% off?
No. One free unit out of 11 received is a 9.09% reduction in average unit cost. Different pack sizes, expiry dates, tax treatment or freight may change which deal is right for you.
